I have an XD9 and...I love the pistol/carbine combo. I have an XD9 and CxStorm9 that use the same mags. 16's, 20's, 30's. I use it when I take and give classes. Although I'd rather have the .45 versions for home defense, they are reliable and I'd trust my life to either one. In 9mm it's (fairly) cheap to shoot and every body can handle the recoil.
