The AR or M4 platform by its very nature is a very accurate rifle that requires a lot of maintenence. You have to keep in mind that with every pull of the trigger you are spraying the face of your bolt carrier and bolt with hot oil and unburnt pieces of powder and general gunk from the gas tube.
