Here's the link from the Smallest Majority:
It seems that CNN, in an attempt at exposing the horrible dangers of .50 BMG rifles just committed at least one, and possibly more than one felony. Apparently they purchased a .50 in a private-party transaction from a person in another state. In fact, they might have done it by straw-purchase - that is, they had someone local buy it for them. Those are no-no's. FEDERAL no-no's, unless the purchaser has a Federal Firearms License. Here's the original link from Triggerfinger. I talked to the Powers-That-Be at the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) the morning after the report ran, and they did NOT mention that they saw a felony.
I'm going to try to hammer this out tomorrow AM, depending on who I can reach on a holiday. If CNN did indeed commit a felony, the editor and the correspondent need to be immediately fired and subsequently charged and prosecuted.
More as soon as I can work the phones.
It says something about the vagaries of the law when a bunch of gun nuts can't agree whether a felony has been committed or not.
ReplyDeleteAs I read the transcript, there was a definite violation in the interstate sale of a rifle without processing through a FFL holder, and there is a reasonable argument that a conspiracy occurred in the planning and execution of that felony.
I'll be really interested to see what the NSSF has to say.
It is now clear to all the world, CNN is a great supporter of the Iranian Régime and the Arabic special interests.
ReplyDeleteThe Iranian regime and Arabic country lobbyists have done a great job on you. Do you have a count on human rights violations in Iran? Why would you bother even to give air time to Rafsanjani? -- his hands are as bloody as Hitler!
You take great pride in interviewing Iranian self-elected narrow minded Mullahs and talking about staged elections
Miss Amanpour , have you ever tried to do some investigation on the Rafsanjani family wealth and investments in Canada, Swiss banks and other countries, or did simply forgot to ask that? How about human trafficking of children to gulf countries,or political prisoners and million of refugees out of Iran? You yourself are one of them. Since you are at it, ask them about the chemical bombing used by Iranians on Kurds.
CNN constantly broadcasts disaster in Iraq and how many Americans die every day, but do you realize that most of the insurgents are supported by Iranian and Arab special interests out side of the Iraq? You selectively have failed to do any investigation into such matters.
You have never tried to show the great thing Americans have down for other nations. Not repeating myself miss Amanpour , you are living example of this countries grace and kindness and willing to give for humanity,
I wonder if the Mullahs would ever give you the opportunity such as this grate country did. On second thought, I do not need to wonder, they would not give you a time of the day, to be where you are now.
Lets see if you have it in you to do a broadcast about violation in human right by fanatic mullahs, political prisoners in jail, drug abuse, AIDS, Women's rights, suppressing minority rights such as Kurds, Christian and the Rafsanjani gangster family wealth in and out side of Iran. Let's get the body count for the killed and missing people in Iran during this régime I am sure the numbers will shock the world.
