I just bought my first 1911, a Taurus PT1911 on June 26th (the day of the Heller decision), and I always like to practice basic field strip of my pistols prior to heading to the range so I am not stuck trying to read directions, should there be a problem (not that I expect one, but always be prepared).
Anywho, I was meeting a frustration on the 1911, and this animation I think just showed me the remedy to my issue.
