I hope they get the ACR out before the rifle ends up banned.

  3. Wow... Michael, where do you get those wonderful toys?!?!?!

To Bushmaster/Magpul, please please please please let us play, too!! Oh-Boy O-Bama's going to have a field day with that... and there are plenty of folks willing to part with Ol´ Lefty in order to join the club. I'd put my deposit down today if I knew I could have it in the house before the crybabies get full access to the legislative pen.

  6. I wonder if Magpul will get this out before Bushmaster does with the Masada?

I'm also wondering how all the new 7.62 AR type rifles (LWRCI, SCAR, Massoud, etc) compare to each other?

That picture is in Colorado, not at SHOT!

  10. Ha, Overload...you are paying attention! I was within spitting distance of the People's Republic of Boulder.

The Massoud features a trick gas piston system that keeps recoil to puffball levels. The rifle pictured is the long-range precision shooting version, which in beta is delivering 3 1/2 inch groups at 600 yards. There's a stubbier version that looks a lot like a 5.56 Masada...

    "But it's not black."

...and that's a GOOD thing, IMHO. I'm glad that the gunmakers have figured out that they can make guns in different colors other than black, woodgrain, or stainless that people would buy. And, even though the flat earth & olive drab look good on polymer guns, I'd like to see guns in MORE colors---how about a kelly-green Glock or a pink AK (for the Kalashni-Kitty fans out there)....

    How does it shoot, Mike?

I’ve been waiting for the Magpaul… I hope it gets here before the magnificent one himself attempts a ban… was that rifle in 7.62 Russian or 308?
