Sometimes I think all Winchester '97s are FROM HELL! It is nothing short of amazing how many different ways they find to break!!!!

    last year I had the stop on the magazine tube loosen and slide forward. Finally Lassiter determined the cause, and Texas Jack silver soldered it.
    Wish I was there competing instead of here!

    Winchester or Chinchester?

    My 6th Gen IAC Norinco has been flawless for 500 rounds - after some minor initial teething problems.

    Been told the metal is a bit better in the Chinchesters.
