  3. But this is what we deserve. For generations Americans have wanted all the benefits of socialism but did not want to pay for it. Now that they have ordered it up, we all are going to pay for it.

We deserve what we get. This nation is full of dumb asses.....

  4. Speak for yourself George. I don't deserve socialism nor do my children. I go to work every day and pay my bills. I don't vote for statists and don't want any part of big government.

    Good commercial.

The RNC finally may be getting it, and the reality of the situation will hopefully galvanize weak Republicans to finally get off their rears and actually vote for a change.

Honest, level headed libertarians and conservatives need to take over the GOP from the local level up. Learn from the opposition; that's what the socialists, statists, and fascists have done to the Democrat Party (with extreme speed) since Bill Clinton's speed bump. He was perhaps the only DNC pol to realize the far left's plans was a real loser, consequently he dumped much of those plans somewhere in 1994 to retain executive power.

Woodrow Wilson was the first Democrat with a serious socialistic bent and FDR advanced statism greatly (but so did TR in his zeal). JFK seemed to be a break from the trend in DNC executives, recall he actually said in a speech that raising taxes in a recession was dumb and he seemed to more strictly interpret the Constitution than his contemporaries on the left. LBJ and Nixon were more or less statists from different sides of the ideological aisle. The Bushes turned out to more or less be statists as well, with GWB attempting to water down conservationism.

Post-Reagan the far left "came of age" and worked seriously to gain power. It seems the shift in popular culture along with the twin legacies of The New Deal and The Great Society have conditioned a large percentage of citizens to ultimately believe that Utopia is possible. The fallacy that is the idea of Utopia has long been used to dupe and control populations...

The likes of our Founders will never return to executive power. Where is Andrew Jackson? Where is Calvin Coolidge? Where is Ronald Reagan? While all had their certain faults, each was dedicated to liberty.

All this shows is that the GOP can hire good ad men...not that they can live up to conservative values....I'm still waiting...
