I stopped by Sparta, IL a few weeks ago to check out the Scholastic Trap (or Skeet?) nationals. At the pistol bays of the World Shooting Complex in Sparta, there were the Ruger reps with their Mark III's and 10/22's .
To Ruger's credit, it is a bit of clever marketing to get kids shooting rifles and pistols at such an early age...but on the flipside I have to wonder how much better the experience would have been for the young'ns if the guns had actually run reliably.
What's the gent in the foreground holding? Looks almost like a Game Gear...
