Got the eyepatch off and, yes, I can see! I can see!

  11. Michael: Glad you can see. My turn comes up pretty soon when I have a lens replaced in my left eye.

    But if you need it I have an extra black eye patch.....thin the Hathaway shirt guy...only fatter.

  14. Don't know about shooting stuff yet...I've got much better vision in my right eye, but they want to give it 5 weeks before they actually write a new prescription for glasses/contacts. I can definitely get a sight picture with both eyes open, which I think is promising.

    BTW, I didn't carry while "pached"...heck, I knocked over a big glass of adult beverage because my depth perception had gone all to heck.

    Glad things seem to have worked! Take it EASY on the heavy recoil for a while. Things like that can be bad for a newly repaired eye.
