  1. Cycles? Hell the SAFETIES work.

That kid is amazing. Unfortunately, he's also built and videoed a paper suppressor.

I'm sure the ATF will be more than happy to bring him up on charges.

That is crazy. His paper 1911 works better than some real 1911's I have owned over the years.

It sounds rather "Clanky" when he is fiddling with it.... Me thinks its not 100% paper

That gun doesn't sound like paper. Neither did the rounds as they hit the table.

Gota agree with the last two comments.. racking the slide sure did not sound like paper!.. This has got to be a hoax... maybe the hand grips are paper, but that is about it!

sounds metallic to me as well. could he have covered a real 1911 with paper?

  9. It's probably resin impregnated paper, but it's still paper nonetheless. That is amazing

  10. Nope, I'm not buying any of this, not even the impregnated paper assumption. This is obviously another YouTube hoax, like the cell phone that pops popcorn - remember that one..?

    .
The Japanese are mad for plastic model kits. They make full sized plastic assembly kit models of guns. I've seen a Hi-Power example. It looked and functioned like the original. I'm going to bet a matchstick that the kid had a plastic model. The gun, mag, and ammo sounded plastic.

  13. Before calling it a fake, watch the other videos. You'll see the fabrication process. The paper is saturated with glue / resin, and there are springs involved as well. It's PAPER. Watch and learn.

Here's an early build of the 1911 where he shows how he carbonizes the paper with motor oil.
