The Littlest 1911

Looking forward to getting my hands on the new shrunken Browning 1911 .22 ( photo at The Firearm Blog). Been hearing about this one for months - sorry, I was under a non-disclose on this one! - and from what I've been able to put together, it should be the top of the heap. Have been talking to the consultants involved, and they're all top notch.

  3. Mike: I remember about 25-30 years ago reading in one of the great old gun mags an article on miniture firearms. Someone built two scale working replicas of a 1911 and a Thompson with drum both where working firearms that scaled down used .25acp. Wow I was blown away by this accomplishment they where exact replicas to the last detail.
And they actually fired live ammo! They where awesome. In the world of minitures there are some pretty amazing replicas out there but these could actually have some practical application like way fun to shoot! JT out.

  4. I admit I was wrong on this. Since everyone wants to carry nowadays, but few want to carry the gun necessary to support a decent cartridge, it seemed reasonable that this would be the direction. I was sure all these little .380s would be replaced by the .22 mag. I guess even the .22 mag has already been bypassed.
