Just look for a black cowboy shirt with skulls...something tasteful!

    Michael,

I spotted the shirt yesterday from about a mile away and wanted to say Hi but you looked like you were movin' with a purpose. Perhaps later today.

Fantastic show, isn't it? You really can't take it all in in a single day. It's great to be able to chat with so many interesting gun people. Dan Coonan of Coonan Arms...great guy who makes some great pistols. Ruger's Prescott facility production manager (Mark Lewis? I'm ashamed I can't recall with certainty.)...his enthusiasm for the guns he makes is addictive. Jessie Abatte...this Southern lady is as sweet and approachable as she is beautiful. The list could go on and on.

High point for me? No question, the Ruger SR1911. Wow, what a nice pistol. The online pics and videos don't do the gun justice. It was hard to get a chance at any of the six Ruger had on display. I thought it was funny how there was so much interest in the SR1911 while another new Slabsides maker from New York had no one looking at there gun.

  3. Pretty off topic but I'm one of the several hundred thousand without power in North AL.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the shows and advice you have passed along over the years. The Best Defense Survival shows as well as your recommendations for Cody Lundin's books were very helpful and we did not have to engage in the panic buying going on here. Lessons from the 'Lights Out' book were welcome in this situation.
The lessons learnedink from Egypt was very helpful.

I have been quite blessed with very minimal damage and have met more of my neighbors.

  5. Well, I don't actually consider this is likely to have success.
