For all of you who turned out yesterday for the SHOOTING GALLERY tape, I can't thank you all enough! It's wonderful to be able to do the show in front of people who watch the show, and I get to show off some of my favorite guns.
I note today that BHo has been bleating like a goosed sheep about how much he likes to "shoot skeet" and how the zombie progressive hordes he has unleashed on us should probably pause and listen to what we have to say...this after millions...er, no...thousands...er, no, according to the house organ of the Obama Administration, the Washington Post, "nearly 1000" march for gun control! Wowee! A whole thousand! Well, almost a whole thousand if you count a few people twice. And how many people ached the day before in a pro-life rally? Hmmmm, only half-a-million. That's a lot less than 1000, isn't it? That's why the media didn't mention it?
And Greasy Joe Biden, who makes Benito Mussolini look thoughtful and intelligent, announces that while, yes, an assault weapons ban was important, what he and the Maximum Leader really wanted all along was a ban on those "assault magazines" (see, Mike Thompson, I'm trying to help you out there as much as I can, buddy! Maybe you can call Steven King for some pointers...). Even Bloomberg says the assault weapons ban is increasingly out of reach.
So what is happening out there? Simple...our blood enemies have lost control of the narrative. That's why those enemies are going to haul out Gabby Giffords as some sort of pathetic puppet. We are winning! Keep those cards and letters coming, folks! But be aware that our blood enemies are going to grow ever more desperate, and these are dangerous times.
BTW, here's one DEFINITELY worth reading! From the Daily Kos, how our blood enemies will orchestrate the end of guns in America:
So registration is the first step. Now that the vast majority are registered, we can do what we will. One good first step would be to close the registry to new registrations. This would, in effect, prevent new guns from being made or imported. This would put the murder machine corporations out of business for good, and cut the money supply to the NRA/GOA. As money dries up, the political capital needed for new controls will be greatly reduced.
There are a few other things I would suggest. I would suggest an immediate, national ban on concealed carry. A ban on internet sales of guns and ammunition is a no brainer. Microstamping would also be a very good thing. Even if the only thing it does is drive up costs, it could still lead to crimes being solved. I'm willing to try every advantage we can get. A national Firearms Owner Identification Card might be good, but I'm not sure if it's necessary if we have a national database. We should also insist on comprehensive insurance and mandatory gun safes, subject to random, spot checks by local and federal law enforcement.
We must make guns expensive and unpopular, just like cigarettes. And a hardy Sieg Heil! to tie the package up with a nice bow. Remember, behind every "victim," behind every call of "reasonable" or "common sense" or "national conversation," behind every "non-partisan survey," behind every move to divide us, there is this sole agenda. This is the end game, and our enemies will say and do anything, regardless of how outrageous, how deceptive, how degrading, to accomplish their goal of civilian disarmament.
And if you believe Barack Hussein Obama is out there busting clays every chance he gets...heck, I can't even think of a stupid enough comment to tag onto that!
Unless Timneys are really oddly complicated, that should only take 10 minutes! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't help thinking the current anti movement has all the trappings of racism. Obviously, gun owners are not a race, but it seems most akin to the rhetoric against blacks, or Jews or other notable hate doctrines of the past.
ReplyDeleteThis is the end game, and our enemies will say and do anything
ReplyDeleteMr. Nail meet Mr. Hammer.
and Usagi, the Timney will take way less than 10 min. ;)
Keep in mind that I have historically been able to scfrew up a brick!

Have you seen the Colorado County Sheriffs position paper yet? Good stuff. http://www.csoc.org/ppdocs/GunControlLegislation.pdf
ReplyDeleteAnd, please, "Anonymous"(1) - maybe you're not aware that our enemies have suggested that non-violence be treated as a civil rights issue - putting US on the wrong side of the "racism" card.
ReplyDeleteSo, yes, they will stop at nothing to achieve their ends. Gotta make people begin to think differently about guns, as Holder says. And they're working overtime to do just that.
But, the fact that they're so scattered in their attacks DOES show they've lost control of the narrative.
And the Daily Kos spills the beans for all to see - what we already knew - so now is not the time to rest on our laurels. We MUST keep the pressure up until, at the very least, the media gets more concerned with who Justin Beiber's dating that what BHO's thoughts on gun control are.
Gunny
Thank you Michael for speaking so well on the subject at hand. We all need to continue sending letters and emails and phone calls to our elected officials. We muse be unrelenting in protecting our freedoms.
ReplyDeleteThe left only wants more control, they will not stop until they have it all. Thank you again for being an excellent spokesman.
A quick follow up on the Colorado Sheriffs position paper I linked earlier. There is a contact us link at the top of the page at the following link. I sent a quick message of support to them and urge Colorado residents to do the same. They will likely take some flak from the gun grabbers, and need to know that law abiding gun owners support them.

I very much enjoy your blog and tv shows, mainly for two reasons. Your vast knowledge of guns and the articulate way you present them. I think it is surprising that you have fallen to the level of using nazi references and slurs against the president .you may not respect the man, but at least respect the position. As little as two weeks ago you said that we needed to
ReplyDeletestick to the facts to win this fight. Please, do not let you standards fall... We need you.
Michael, You are a daily inspiration. I have engaged with my congress critters and of course my fellow citizens. I also like your shows. Some of them are modern horror classics. The scenarios in Best Defense are just plain scary. Bill in Texas
ReplyDeleteAnonomous at 8:22: if it makes you feel better, he is not a nazi, but his actions are Gestpo-like.. really, he is a shameless socialist, trying to take the same gun grabbing tactics as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and a long list of many others. Shall not be infringed is what the bill of rights, individual rights, says. Ill bet you are one of those folks that actually voted for the clown, and we now sit in the cess pool of your piss-poor ability to get it right.... or... you are just a seminar blog commentor.. If the latter, go to your rightful spot on thinkprogressive.com
ReplyDeleteActually dam doc, I did not vote for him..simply I think facts are stronger than lowball name calling. And just so you know I am a New York state resident. I have probably lost more of my rights in the last ten years. Then you have. Keep spewing garbage and you will know what it feels like when it's too late for you too.
DeleteKeep equivicating, and you will lose your 7 rounds. This is a war, we are not negotiating or playing nice. This man, your president, means to destroy us. You, more than anyone, being from NY should understand that, having that empty suit Cuomo as governor. The president does not try to understand us. He acts in a devicive manner, using Alinsky tachtics (read the next blog post fro Mr Bane). I find your limp handshake, "cant we all just get along" attitude will lead to our loss, as you have experienced in NY.. What is it, the water over there? The truth is being spoken. I dont understand your need to gift wrap it.
DeleteHis comment about shooting clays is like a white trying to prove he is not a racist by saying he has black friends.
