Better Than Nothing...

I did get to put some rounds...well, pellets...downrange today from my .25 Benjamin Marauder, which is just a wonderful rifle. It has an 8-round magazine and is more accurate than I am. I've been loading it off a 3500 psi aluminum scuba tank, but more and more I'm thinking of sucking it up and getting a dedicated carbon fiber air tank @ 4500 psi specifically for PCP air rifles.

I just ordered a bunch of .25 pellets to see what works best with the beast. My goal is to be a better rifleman, and I think that air rifles might well be important tools to help me along that path.

And speaking of beasts, I also got my Kodabow crossbow today! I got it put together and I'm looking forward to lobbing some arrows downrange. Unfortunately, tomorrow is a politics day...I'll be at the state legislature all day arguing our case.

Yes, Michael, good luck tomorrow. As a fellow Coloradan, I've been keeping up with the bills introduced lately. Spooky stuff....

    So,

    Give'em hell!

  3. I know you'll represent us well. If only the facts matter to these people.

You've given everyone here a hefty dose of reality of late, Michael. I expect you can do the same for our employees at the state legislature.

I know you'll do us proud.

  5. ive had a .17 marauder for a year or so, and its great.. too loud for the neighborhood with the light weight pellets, but subsonic and quiet with the heavier pellets.. ive got the hand pump.. it is a workout! Good luck throwing cold water on the gun grabbers..

How effing sad. I remember the ads in the gun mags for 20mm Lahti's. Now were down to playing with airguns as a plan B.

Anyone that routinely does public speaking knows there's days where the words just flow concise and smooth. I sincerely hope you have one of those days tomorrow Michael!

    Good luck!
