If I can take a moment out from fighting war, there is a great story on ForgottenWeapons.com on the Polish PM-63 "personal defense weapon."
The story is a compressive history of the little machine pistol you saw me shooting in the Poland episode of SHOOTING GALLERY a few weeks back. The RAK is absolutely my favorite machine-gun, displacing the Czech Skorpion and the venerable MP-5. I'm still hoping against hope that either parts kits or a closed bolt semi auto pistol version with the folding stock and forend welded closed, a la the PPS43 pistols, make it to the United States. If it does, I'll file the paperwork to SBS it...
Michael,
ReplyDeleteThis is a bit off topic but its something that drives me crazy. Why is it that you don't have an easy link to your most RECENT podcast on your blog or even on the downrange radio page? This is madness my friend.
Ok, Im reading your blog, I click on the link for the "Listen to the Latest" Downrange Radio with Michael Bane. That link takes me not to the most recent podcast but to small window that has a podcast from NOVEMBER 2012????.. Ok, so now I have to click on the link for this weeks link and then Im taken to a page that displays episode # 293???? To get to the CURRENT podcast I have to click on the tiny, tiny link for Downrange radio in the subtitle on the page header. This is really crazy Michael...
Why not just direct the reader to the most recent podcast when you click on the downrange radio podcast link on your blog page like it advertises?
ReplyDeleteThanks, keep up the great work. I really appreciate all you do.
I second the Coroner's post. Are we missing something?
ReplyDeleteThanks for being the point of the shield wall MB.
I am anxiously awaiting one as a semi auto as well. Keep pushing them to make it happen. I'll buy two if it helps!
ReplyDeleteI ask Marshal to look into it...hopefully, it's a fixable event..

Thanks Michael. I know you have a "few" more important issues on your plate right now.
ReplyDeleteSacramento County Coroner,
ReplyDeleteThanks for alerting us on the link problem. On Michael's blog (right column), the Down Range Radio logo is now linked to the category page on DRTV, where you can find the very latest shows and select from there.
That works! Thanks
ReplyDeletealso like how this gun looks. pretty interesting.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great gun to shoot, too!
