Great reference! Not sure what pissed my parents off more -- finding my stash of underground comix which included classics by Gilbert Shelton, R. Crumb, and many others. They of course trashed it, an f-in shame since it'd be worth many, many boxes of ammo at current prices. OR, when I brought home my first gun purchase (Marlin-Glenfield .22).
There was some kind of performance art in the late '60s that utilized Zap Comix...somehow I ended up with a 4-foot by 6-foot Zap panel that involved, "Ruby the Dyke," a for lack of better words strap on device and the maid. My mother nearly passed out when she found it and if I recall it was summarily burned in the back yard.
Wonder what that would be worth today? It'd look good at the Secret Hidden Bunker...
