Snow flurries here at the Bunker...I suspect summer may be over.
Having some trouble getting my head back into the usual war footing...the huge success of the Colorado recall...the self-inflicted stupidity of Starbucks...the U.N. treaty...Kenya...the Navy Yard...
I think I'm going to take a little time tomorrow to work on an AR I can't quite get like I want.
Bring it to Weld and work the bugs out. Don't forget your shotgun and pistol.
ReplyDeleteWelcome home, Micheal! Listened to the podcast today, sounds like Africa will be in your soul for the rest of your life. So kewl for you! I grew up reading Capstick in G&A, Rourk and Selous. Plus fiction. A dream I'll never be able realize due to health and finances. Tell your tale well, so we can enjoy the veldt vicariously with you.
ReplyDeleteWell Mike, Starbucks is just doing business trying not to alienate anybody on either side, it's likely that the majority of their customers are antis so their avoiding an out right ban is a good thing .
ReplyDeleteThe Recall WAS a huge success, and needs to be a building block toward the next election .
The Navy Yard and Kenya ?
As you often say, with so many monkeys some will be broken .
They are over and they provide no ammo for the antis so while they are sad events there is no more to be done.
As for Namibia, try Pepto Bismal , LOL.
The rest of your "relaxed schedule" (which would have already killed a lesser man )
You're on your own, I'm going to take a nap after just thinking about it.
Welcome back, glad you had a good time.
I enjoyed reading your posts.
