Michael: Is Newt on or off leash when you are out and about? My Siberians are never off, as their prey drive is so very high. Off they would go ("We are wolves!!!"), never to be seen again! Beagles are so very much more trainable.
Sadly, Newt is ALWAYS on leash. She has a very strong hunting/trailing drive...once she's on a trail that interests her, she completely looses her brain. zWe're working with her, but beagles are stubborn as little donkeys!
