Here's the game-changing part:

Mine (.308) is on order. Here's the
AMERICAN RIFLEMAN review. I have a precision rifle class in early October, so we'll see what it will do in that context. You'll see the full report on DRTV and on SHOOTING GALLERY 2016.
As a charter member of the "always wanting more" demographic, please, please, please, Ruger, make it in 300 Win Mag.
ReplyDeleteI want one!
ReplyDeleteI got that email and was suddenly filled with lust. I'm thinking .308 rather than the others simply because I have a mess of .308 on hand and a few other platforms in it. 6.5 Creedmore is pretty well regarded, though.
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself I'm going to retire, but if I need to work a bit longer to grab one of them... I can deal with that.
Michael, out of curiosity, why did you opt for .308 over 6.5CM? I am going to get my order placed on one of these and am leaning towards the 6.5. I don't currently shoot it and already have the Ruger GSR and a DPMS .308 but to really ring the steel out to 1k yards I think that the 6.5 is the ticket.
ReplyDeleteMichael, if Ruger doesn't have plans to make a Magnum version please try to change their minds!
