Another GIANT, has passed. GOD bless and comfort his family. I am saddened. Who will be the next to carry his torch?

Anyone?

Damn that is a good video.
I wish the NRA would use that in a Public Service Announcement today.
The beginning of that video brought up some old memories of the small town I was born in.

When Mr. Heston was firing on all cylinders he was very powerful speaker. The disease process that took his mind down is horrific.
I'm happy his spirit is whole now.
RIP.

All the ulogies with high praise are deserved. Beyond a celebrity he was genuinely a great communicator. I believe he sincerely valued this countries founding principles. Even in the ad hoc situations he was thoughtful and intelligent. The NRA had a DVD with his speeches and it was riveting. Mostly, don’t forget that he spoke of plain and simple concepts. Freedom, integrity, family, God. These any man can own. Don’t let the age of Internet drivel destroy your own ability to reason.

Wow.

Now I understand why the mainstream media never showed any of the speeches from the RA conventions when Heston was president.

edit to correct that to "NRA conventions"
