...which I spent mostly in meetings. I had a wonderfully signing at the ARMSCOR/Rock Island booth, followed by the premiere of Crimson Trace's THE LASER'S EDGE training video with me, Iain, Julie Golub, Dave Starin, Todd Jarrett and Richard Mann (who did an amazing job organizing the video). I think it is a GREAT training video...it's free, and it will be I predict the most widely distributed training video ever. CT predicts a million will be given away within a year. We'll have a button up on DRTV as soon as we get home so you can all get a copy.
If yo get a chance, take a look at the Rock Island Mig 22 .22LR rifle...we've talked about the little Fred Craig-designed gun, but it should be on your list if you're looking for a fun gun to keep you shooting through these grim times .
BTW, yesterday there was a huge sigh of relief throughout the Hall after El Duce spoke...there are some concerns, which I'll be detailing next week, but on the whole the battlefield is being clarified, which helps us.
PLEASE, GO TO RUGER AND SIGN UP THROUGH THEIR APP, WHICH WILL SEND EMAILS TO ALL YOUR CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES, YOUR GOVERNOR, THE PRESIDENT, THE VICE-PREISDENT (who probably doesn't have the horsepower to read it), ETC.!!!!
When I signed at the Ruger booth yesterday with Ruger CEO Mike Fifer looking on, we were approaching half-a-million...not nearly enough!!! We want to see at least a million by the end of SHOT! Even if you've already contacted your representatives, DO SO AGAIN!
I need to mention that Gemtech is now offering .300 Blackout ammo in addition to their superb .22 LR for suppressed guns. Beretta is offering Nanos in festive colors. Our pal Uli, who joined us on our tour of Poland you saw last night on SHOOTING GALLERY, rolled out his new 1911, the Viper, through his company I.O. Nice looking 1911! I'll round one up for T&E.
