The Ever-Classy MagPul

MagPul moves Colorado residents to the front of the line...why? Because it's the classy thing to do. From their Facebook page:

We are proud to announce that within a matter of days we will be going live with a new program. Due to a bill currently moving through the Colorado legislature, there is the possibility that Colorado residents' ability to purchase standard capacity magazines will soon be infringed. Before that happens, and Magpul is forced to leave the state in order to keep to our principles, we will be doing our best to get standard capacity PMAGs into the hands of any Colorado resident that wants them.

Verified Colorado residents will be able to purchase up to ten (10) standard capacity AR/M4 magazines directly from Magpul, and will be given immediate flat-rate $5 shipping, bypassing our current order queue.

Our customers outside of Colorado, please know that our PMAG production will continue at an ever-increasing rate until we do relocate, shipments to our distributors in other states will continue, and that we do not expect relocation to significantly impact PMAG production. We are also aware that

Colorado is not the only state with existing or pending magazine capacity restrictions; we are working on programs for other affected states as well.Full details and instructions will be announced when we are able to go live; please watch here for the coming announcement.

Thank you, MagPul! One of the most telling moments at the Colorado House Judiciary Committee hearings was when the Committee Dems, including the sad, now-devalued Joe Salazar, were falling all over themselves to cut MagPul a deal and for the life of them couldn't understand why MagPul refused it. It says a lot about a group of men and women that they are incapable of even recognizing the concept of honor when they see it.

MagPul joins Gabe Suarez' One Source Tactical in supporting Colorado shooters. I would love to see big players like Midway USA and Brownell's offer similar deals. FLOOD COLORADO WITH STANDARD CAPACITY MAGS!

Stand and fight! Have you contacted not jus Colorado State Senators and the Governor's office, but your Federal reps as well, especially Senator Mark Udall and Senator Michael Bennett?

Am reaching out to the big hunting organizations to support NO HUNTING Colorado!, and I have no doubt they'll be on board...no organization wants to risk sending hunters into a state with vague "flypaper" laws designed to trap unwary gun owners!

We meet with the Governor's reps on Friday...will keep you informed...

Just (wed morning) was listening to the hearing Sen Feinstein called. DOJ spokesman and Chief of police made me want to puke. God help us that these are the gestapo who will gladly strip Americans (won't call them "fellow Americans" since this grants these cretins the same status as true Americans)of their civil rights. Your podcast was a better use of my time.

I called in to the Rita Cosby radio show the other day. She hung up on me cause she was shocked to hear that I supported the NYS boycott...LOL. Will be in Albany NY tomorrow at rally. Wrote letter to Colorado based fast food company Red Robin. Told them I will not be frequenting them because the money I spend with them helps fund the state of Colorado and they want to harm me by stripping me of my 2A rights. Basically they are caught behind a hard place and a rock but that is tough. Go tell your political contacts that ALL things Colorado are going to suffer economically. But I'll be voting one burger at a time.

I am the president of a Fish & game club in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts. Yes, believe it or not we are not all communist Ted Kennedy lovers here. I took the time to write to the governor in Colorado to let him know I will make sure none of the members of my club or any other that I am affiliated with will be coming to that state to hunt, fish or just visit as tourists. We have members that are retired & travel everywhere to hunt. Thay won't be spending money in Colorao. I am tellnig everyone to go to Utah or another friendly state instead.

A boycott is the best way to hit 'em. Be sure and tell them, better yet tell the businesses you'll no longer support, and let THEM tell our lords and masters. Grrrrrrr. This crap makes me so mad I could spit. *spit*

Many, many thanks to MAGPUL - you make us proud to be a part of your history. But the honorable thing is a way of life - and generally misunderstood by those who've never understood the concept of honor (or sold theirs long ago).
I'll continue the fight for as long as it takes to try and keep you here - and bid you fair winds and calm seas in your next endeavor.
As for CO's future - the bloom is off the rose, I'm affraid, and the Kalifornication of a once fine state - hastened along by moronic lawmakers and Bloomberg's blood money - is well on its way to joining the list of People's Republics in our Late Great USA.
But the battle wages still - and no matter the outcome - will continue to darken the landscape as
those who seek to destroy us and our way of life until the political winds change. Or until a tsunami of political freedom sweeps the muck from this precious land. And to our foes I say:

"If you love wealth greater than freedom, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." ~ Samuel Adams

Thank YOU, MAGPUL - and SEMPER FI!

I think you people still dont get it. Boycotting CO wont help. You are not wanted in CO. You are not wanted in NY, MA, CA, and many other places too. They want you to go away. This is not your country any more. You gave it away. Stand on 16th street in Denver and look around. Are those Americans you see? Look who is in the WH. Look who is on the supreme court. You're wasting your time fighting now. You are surrounded. Get prepared to line up in front of the ditch you dug.

Sad that Magpul is not standing with the other companies that are refusing to sell to local and state governments (Law Enforcement agencies) that are denying the rights of the law abiding citizens to own the same products.

I appreciate magpul for what they have done to fight this fight but I will now only buy from those companies that are boycotting with us when at all possible.

Ill pass on magpul when I can.

Taken from their Facebook page:

Magpul Industries Corp.

Magpul is proud to announce the “Boulder Airlift”, our program to make sure that responsible Colorado citizens have the opportunity to own standard capacity PMAGs prior to the potential implementation of pending legislation that would infringe on their Second Amendment Rights. The program will be open to all responsible CO residents, (with both billing and shipping addresses inside CO) and provide access to a limited quantity of PMAGs. Remember to contact members of the Senate and the Governor prior to ordering and urge them to oppose HB 1224.

Full details at http://www.magpul.com/Colorado

Similar to the Berlin Airlift, the Boulder Airlift will bring much needed supplies to freedom-loving residents trapped inside occupied territory. While we plan to initially use FedEx or UPS instead of aerial delivery, we figure that $5 flat rate shipping will make up for any loss of “style points.”

The increases we have made and continue to make in production capacity will allow us to open this program with very minimal impact on the number of PMAGs we are shipping to our dealers and distributors out of the state. We are also aware that Colorado is not the only state with existing or pending magazine capacity restrictions; we are working on programs for other affected states as well.

Good thing for today. Had a great turnout for the rally in Albany NY organized by NYS Rifle & Pistol Assoc. Estimates I've seen published are from 5K to 12K turnout. All I know is that the place was packed. Heard many say that the pols were pissed that so many folks were knocking on there doors. Took 1.5 hrs to just to get in the Legislature building before the rally outside. Here are some pics published by local press. You folks out there can do it too !

not sure if this will help ...but it can't hurt the cause.

Im done with magpul till they get on board. Here is why this issue is so important. Legislators who write these bills do so with the support of law enforcement executives and unions support. This is because in each of these anti 2nd amendment bills cops are always exempted. Notice that you never see language that says the exemption is only for official use.

We must get all the manufacturers on board to stop LE sales to begin to chip away at the support the legislators get for these bills. Logic says that if the cops that support the unions and chiefs are no longer exempted and cant get this stuff either you will see less support for these bills from agencies.

Resistance is the best way to them. Must tell them, it is better to tell companies you will no longer support, let them tell us master. Time with it. This crap makes me so angry I can spit.
