Liberty will be gone with the death of this very unique culture. Say thats racist, call others an antisemite even though there are no semites in American politics, or say "diversity is our strength". All are tactics of those intentionally destroying this once unique country with immigration. Until the war on traditional America by those who desire a world government is stopped, liberties will continue to fall one by one. Colorado, the place where I was born and only recently left, was defeated years ago. Go to Denver and look around. Passing laws to first criminalize a culture, as is now happening, and then later legalizing state sponsored extermination of dissidents will be the easy part. The history of the Balkans will probably seem pleasant when this is over.

"The general misconception is that any statute passed by legislators bearing the appearance of law constitutes the law of the land. The U.S. Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and any statute, to be valid, must be In agreement. It is impossible for both the Constitution and a law violating it to be valid; one must prevail. This is succinctly stated as follows:

The General rule is that an unconstitutional statute, though having the form and name of law is in reality no law, but is wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since unconstitutionality dates from the time of it's enactment and not merely from the date of the decision so branding it. An unconstitutional law, in legal contemplation, is as inoperative as if it had never been passed. Such a statute leaves the question that it purports to settle just as it would be had the statute not been enacted.

Since an unconstitutional law is void, the general principles follow that it imposes no duties, confers no rights, creates no office, bestows no power or authority on anyone, affords no protection, and justifies no acts performed under it.....

A void act cannot be legally consistent with a valid one. An unconstitutional law cannot operate to supersede any existing valid law. Indeed, insofar as a statute runs counter to the fundamental law of the lend, it is superseded thereby.

No one Is bound to obey an unconstitutional law and no courts are bound to enforce it."

Some good news, though...apparently seeing the writing on the wall, Senate President Morsi killed his own gun liability bill and one of the other gungrabbing senators has said he'll kill the Campus Carry Ban...the fights not over by any means but the dumbocrats seem to be starting to realize that their comments on how women weren't smart enough to carry guns for their own protection were not setting well with the general public...and the gun liability bill was an absurd overreach as well. Don't wait for 2014. Start the recalls now. That will make Bloomberg and legislators in other states think twice about pulling this sh*t again.

It's nothing less than a coup.

Bloomberg's fedayeen shock troops have air dropped into Florida and are proposing similar laws here.

You Coloradans will find out on Monday how much Freedom has been taken from you. But then begins Phase TWO: ATTACK!

Part A) The Courts. Push all those Anti-Freedom Laws as hard and fast as you can up the State System, then over to the Feds. You'll need Money and Orgs like the SAF, so be willing to spend it.

Part B) The Elections. When they do the Roll Call Vote, you will FINALLY know who is on the side of Liberty and Freedom and Self-Defense, and who is on the side of Control and Rape and Murder. Yes, I said Rape and Murder, and I mean it. YOU heard the comment from the Political Hacks in your Legislature, You KNOW they don't give a Damn about Women and Children and the Elderly Defending themselves. Now, if you all want to go for Recalls, that's Good, but I think putting up Solid 2A Stalwarts in the Primaries would be a better expenditure of Time and Money. YMMV, of course.

But Don't Roll Over and Play Dead! The Anti-Freedom Crowd is already looking at their next Victims, and if Colorado Falls, that will just energize THEM.

Good Luck!

And Keep Your Powder Dry, "Just in Case."

Sebastian over at Pagunblog is reporting that there is still a recorded vote on the mag ban Monday. Was the 18-17 voice vote on it a Roll call yea nay vote or just a general one?

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you guys are pissed and there is a big fight coming in the courts and elections, but stopping the campus carry bill was big. They paid for their ridiculous comments that if they were Republicans would be on National news, thanks MSM

Colorado elected these people. The people have not represented the people. Americans are being punished and illegals who will vote to keep them in office at the average American's cost ... well, this is Obama and the Democrats America.

He promised change and Colorado got it. I would already be packing to leave but there are not many places to go these days.

I hope the Americans there will have recall elections and vote to "change' again. Good Luck Colorado, you were once a grand place.

It's now time to succeed from the Union and kick out the New Yorkers.

Best of luck Colorado, the worst is yet to come.

Gosh, legal pot (what could possibly go wrong?), reduced tuition for illegals (lower than resident tuition?), and gun control... Next a name change to colofornia?

DamDoc,
the reduced tuition is compared to out-of-state attendees, and is designed for illegals who have been living in Colorado throughout high school. The idea being that if they weren't illegal they'd be in state residents.

and they vote. no id needed

The irony is deep here. I happened to watch a re-run of "Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy" today featuring "Dragon Man", a Coloradan who collected various firearms, including various fully automatic guns. It was stressed continually that in Colorado, anyone can own these as long as you met the legal requirements. They also alluded to the "freedoms" afforded individuals in that state. It only goes to show you how quickly things can change. The state is now "free" to take away your rights.

We have to all stick together and stop this tsunami of worthless laws. If any among us think that they should still need to vote for the current administration solely because they need the economy fixed, they are mistaken. The economy crash that is about to befall us will also result in more lost liberties and we will not be able to stop that.

Because an unconstitutional law is invalid, the general principles to follow, it does not impose any obligation, or grant any rights, create no office, no power or authority to anyone to provide any protection, prove didn't act on it...
