Hi Michael Hope NRA show is going well. Look forward to updates. Something I would love to see on a future podcast is a primers guide to Ham radio. I'd like to have one just in case there is some sort of event and I want to use it to obtain and communicate info about my area. I know I need a license. What gear would be appropriate but not run a fortune. Kind of along the lines of what a glock pistol or AR is to self defense. Thanks.
Sorry we missed your "Michael Buys the Beer" get together but when we got to Honky Tonk Central we became very confused by the signage on several of the doors and windows. Posted immediately next to each other were "Welcome NRA" signs along with the typical handgun with cross-out circle over it. Could not determine what clientele they were trying to cater too. As residents of Temnessee we know those no gun signs carry the weight of law so we decided it best to move on. Did enjoy the few moments we got to speak with you the evening before at the CPRC event. Maybe we can try again at next year's NRAAM.
... and the Outdoor Channel award for restraint in the presence of a sponsor goes to Ed Head for his interview of Gordon Bond. When Mr. Bond claims that his 410 derringers are perfect because you don't have to aim or even know how to shoot, you just point down the hall and pull the trigger and the massive 410 clears the hallway of all, I can't imagine what must have been going through Ed's head.

Hmmm...can't find any streaming video of meeting. Maybe a different link ?
starts april 11, i believe...
While at the meeting I am certain California's decision to completely ban lead billets for hunting will come up.
Check the NRA's site; "www.nra.org" for streaming video and re-plays of high-lights.
Then, JOIN THE NRA and SECOND AMENDMENT FOUNDATION!
If we don't all stick together, we'll all surely fall together.
