Cheapest Yet!

$475

From Primary Arms this morning, an Anderson Arms AR in 5.56 with a match trigger and 1 magazine. If you've seen cheaper, let me know! If you don't have an AR (and I'm sure there are at least 2 or 3 of you out there), hey, always a good time to buy when so many outlets are trying to dump the Hillary-Is-Crowned-Queen inventory to make room for CCW  handguns.

Ya, but not here in the People's Republik of Kalifornia.

Black guns will be illegal to sell come January.

Hey, you hear about the new "California Three Gun"?

Bow and arrow, hatchet, and pocket knife.

Here's a shirt that's on my Christmas list:

It says it all.

Actually sprung for a crossbow. $369. Kindof going medieval. Midway had a nice Black Friday sale on it. I figure once society collapses I will be fully prepared for repelling attacks of pre-industrial Zombies and Democrats.

Any thoughts that there will be a huge drop in firearm prices after the inauguration?

They're cheaper than building them now! Heck! I picked up a Palmetto State Armory through Davidson's around a year ago for $500-ish and thought that was about as good as prices were going to get. I won't be surprised if these kinda prices hold, that several manufacturers get out of the AR15 business all together. I'm sure that the guys selling anything other than AR15s are having a hard time right now. Even a mil-surp SKS is $400-$475 now.

Just beware though, regarding some "cheap" ARs. Watch out for other cost-cutting features in the bolt, trigger, etc. At least this one says it has a forged upper and lower. The barrel is a non-chrome lined 4140 steel barrel. That's OK, but chroming adds cost and I say durability. There's some debate there though. I can't say if the barrel is forged, or simply machined from bar-stock. I'm seeing some low-end guns with "billet" receivers. They're cut from bar-stock, not the same as a forging in strength. Some high-end guns have fully machined uppers and lowers too, but they also have aircraft worthy pre-machining heat treatment and post-machining anodizing. Other cheap guns are "painted".

Anyhow, I'm reading the "fine print" on anything I'm considering.

They are getting cheap.

I just bought an Adams Arms piston AR10 for just over $1000. DI models are in the $600s!
