Happy Thanksgiving!
As always, my thoughts on Thanksgiving go to those American men and women in our Armed Forces who are walking an increasingly shaky line at distant posts around the world. We give thanks for them, and we give thanks for those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. We remember the heroes of Benghazi, abandoned by their leaders, who saw their duty and never faltered. Give thanks for our increasingly shredded Constitution that has stood as a bulwark against the worst excesses of our politicians for more than 2 centuries. Give thanks for the American people, who have consistently proven that they know and understand more than their leaders give them credit for. Finally, spend some time with your family...and stay the heck out of malls!
We have a lot to be thankful for this year, not the least of which is that it is almost over. It has been a tough year for all of us.
Take a break, have some turkey, give thanks...

Hey, you guys in Colo. Are three for three in fumigating your State House! Reasons for Thanksgiving in my book....now if we could do as well in Maryland, Mass., NY and Joisey the Nation could be on the mend! May your bird be juicy and flavorful.
Half a win. With Hudak resigning, her successor will be a Democrat. If the recall had gone through, a Republican might have replaced her, throwing Senate control over to the Republicans.
Fortunately the new Dem will only be there for a year. Doubtful that anyone could be as repulsive as Hudak. Plus after seeing what happens to socialist Dems in CO. They might even pretend to honer their oath for a year?
I think the Dems might be humbled for a year...I believe they will be humbled after 2014...if, and this is a big IF, we can keep our "culture memory" for a year.
Jason...how's the off-grid project coming? Foundation is in for the new off-grid Secret Hidden Bunker.

Dem's are never humbled!!!!!!!!
They just re-double their deceit and treachery every time they are caught doing something dishonest.
Stay on offense!

Things are going well, though very slowly. Unfortunately an undertaking such as this takes both a lot of time, and a LOT of money. Neither of which is easy to come by. For right now I have the back-up generator in place. And the components for the solar power ordered. I managed to find some brand new panels from a local company that went out of business. I purchased a pallet of Kyrocera 315 watt panels at cost. Unfortunately 3 of them are scratched pretty bad. But with 20 panels I'll have enough to power the house, and all of the outbuildings. Now I just need the time to work on it. I take it all the blasting went well at the new bunker site?
