SHOOTING GALLERY / COWBOYS GOOD NEWS!

Ah, the news you've all been waiting to hear!

SHOOTING GALLERY and COWBOYS will be back with new shows on The Outdoor Channel in 2008, with me producing.

Even more importantly, the new management of The Outdoor Channel and I are on exactly the same page...we're going to be taking the two most popular shooting shows in HISTORY up to the next level! Get ready, 'cause it's gonna rock!

More later, but I wanted to get this announcement out ASAP....

Hey Michael,

Congratulations on the successful contract negotiations! At least you didn't have to traverse the "Free Agent" market.

Still reading and enjoying your blog very much.

Once again Congrats and Looking forward to the future!!

Way to Mike, congratulations!

At least TOC has someone with functioning brain cells. With a popular show like yours, it would be foolish not to renew it.

THANK GOD! Thought I was going to have to drop TOC from the cable package. What will we be seeing in the new episodes? Give us a hint.

Good!

Two events that would be worth covering:

1. The North-South Skirmish Association's National Championships. Spring is 16-20 May, Fall is 3-7 October. All sorts of Civil War hardare - shot against targets, not wretched blanks. Try www.n-ssa.org

2. The 2007 Pacific Zone Muzzle-Loading Championships...which will be the selection match for the 2008 World Championship team that will shoot in Adelaide, Australia. 11-13 July, in Batesville, Indiana

Please Mr. Bane, no muzzle loaders unless there is some sort of tactical muzzle loader available. Something with a rail and red dot optic style set up.

My FAVE show is coming back! This is great news. What will be in the shooting gallery play list for 08?

Only police and military should have muzzleloaders. The rest of us should just be content with our matchlocks, right? (also: CONGRATULATIONS MICHAEL!!!
Actually we're the lucky ones!)
