I've spent the last couple of days reading a fairy tale, Neil Gaiman's 1998 Stardust. It's a real fairy tale, too, complete with fairies, witches, true loves, happily ever after and no political point whatsoever.
Gaimen's a graphic novelist, of course, and a heck of a novelist...I loved American Gods.
Anyway, when you need a break from the Real World, try Stardust. You'll feel better, I promise!
