My Brother Gets His Hand Slapped...

He who laughs last, etc...
From Drudge:
ESPN yanks Hank for comparing Obama to Hitler
Hank Williams, Jr., the voice famous for asking millions of football fans whether they’re ready for some football, has been pulled from tonight’s broadcast of “Monday Night Football” over a comment he made on Fox News this morning.
Williams, who sings the lead-in song to the game each week, criticized the president for his golf summit with House Speaker John Boehner this summer.

“It would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli leader) Benjamin Netanyahu,” Williams told “Fox & Friends.”
USA Today, among others, picked up the quote, speculating on whether the comparison would get Williams booted from the broadcast .
This afternoon, ESPN released a statement to the affirmative:
“While Hank Williams, Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open to Monday Night Football. We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight’s telecast.”
You're always welcome on SHOOTING GALLERY, my brother! I believe this isn't the first time ESPN has fired you...how many millions did it cost them to get you back last time???

I was watching Fox this morning just to see Hank. You have got to watch the entire segment. Hank handed the 3 stooges on Fox and Friends their heads. It was hysterical. They were squirming and apologizing to the audience and Hank had warned them. Little tough guy Brian Kilmeade tried to box with Hank and lost. Heck just watch it yourself....

You go Hank.

You are 100% right....we are more polarized than we've been in our lifetimes.

The class warfare game that the Democrats have been playing for decades might turn into chickens looking for a place to roost. Fomenting class warfare is a bad thing for portion of a society to do and the one's who do that should be the one's who get the short end of the stick if something bad happens.

Using the people against themselves is an ugly game the demigods play.

All he said was that the two sides are opposed to each other...BFD.

He didn't compare any person to any other person. All he did was point out the incongruity of two people playing golf.

Too bad stupid people can't understand analogies.

Hank Williams Jr. fires back at ESPN, "Fox and Friends" and what he called the "United Socialist States of America" in a new song.

Using Hitler to compare someone to is comparing someone to the ulitmate bad guy (or at least one of them). Was Hank saying Obama IS the ultimate bad guy?......could be a good comparison,
