Dead!

Not dead enough, given the damage to our beloved country he caused. For now, all honor to our warriors and to the SEAL team that sealed the deal! Thank you, guys. You are the best of America.

Yee Haa! Hope this provides some comfort to those who have lost loved ones both due to the acts of this monster and in persuing him and his ilk and infrastructure. Three cheers for the seals!

So far, have not seen any pictures and I don't get the burying at sea either. They should have brought him back to ground zero and let the relatives of those killed on 9/11 spit on the body.

DEAD! Great!!!! To quote the words of Henry Fonda "he needed killin" and now he is thats so great.

Politically correct nonsense about dumping him at sea. They didn't do that Saddam did they. He should have been dragged back to NYC & put on public display!

Actually to quote Dr. McCoy from Star Trek......"He's Dead Jim!"

Burying him at sea avoids claims of "desecrating the body" (it's apparently an accepted Islamic burial) while simultaneously denying his followers a shrine.

It's pragmatism, avoid giving your enemy any rational hook to claim victimization among the undecided while still doing them a real harm.

My office on Maiden Lane was 2 blocks away from the WTC. I lost customers, 20 neighbors in my area, my former boss lost his daughter, co-workers lost family. I will never be able to get that stink of the burning hellish pile from my senses. The weird silence of lower Manhattan for weeks afterward. My young daughters got introduced to war at much too early an age. Now as adults it still hasn't ended.

There are periodically monsters who walk among us that perpetrate unspeakable things against innocents. If prayer has any power I ask my God to deny that man any of his blessings. To make him suffer for all eternity for his actions on Earth. May God Bless America and may his countenance shine down upon all those who still suffer from that day.

I remember that day like it was yesterday. I lived in Rye, NY at the time and could see the WTC from across Long Island Sound. In high school I watching them being build and I remember seeing them come down that day. I knew people in the second plane that hit the towers, I knew people who died in the towers too. To think people were going to work only later to have to decide to jumb or burn...horrible horible!

To hell with being pragmatic I think we were owed. He mastermind murder in the largest scale seen it this country and marked the begining of the new century & millinium with tragety. If his body was deposited on a NYC street there wouldn't have been anything left for a suitable shrine. Dead & Gone & good riddance.

Great day for America and thanks to the SEAL's and other forces that pulled it off.

I don't mind the burial at sea bit, but it absolutely should have been in a bacon grease/pigskin coffin (with video of the whole process)...

My hat is off to the best of the best. Job well done. Although(I'm sure it wasn't their choice to bury him at sea. They should have buried him in a pig farm and then shoot any pilgrims that go to honor him "sorta like a baited field". God Bless our warriors one and all

Frank...you forgot that the corpse should ONLY have been placed in the dirty pig skin coffin AFTER the phallus of a diseased camel was inserted into corpse's mouth...the man was neither religious or honorable...he deserved nothing but the 2 bullets to the face he got...

Somewhere, there's a SEAL Team asking the simple question: "Next?"

Stay the course.
