Fired a FAL one time and fell absolutely in love! For some reason it felt as though it shouldered better than an AR style rifle. What is their turn around time to start seeing them on the market?
I started shooting my DSA receivered FAL in 3gun this year. It is much more exciting than AR work. It also rattles the dental fillings of my fellow competitors. 7.62 for the win!
My brother had and FAL way back in the early eighties. It had a bipod and in the prone position it was incrediable accurate. He thousands of rounds through it & never had a problem with it. I really liked it a lot and figure one day I might have to get one.
For shits & gigles we had a competition between his FAL & my orignial Sharps Big 50 at 100 yard who could take a 6" tree down first. The same size tree at the same distance I beat him...I had bigger bullits.....& of course I was a better shot!!! Rob Drummond Hillsboro, NH

Always regretted not getting a FAL back when they were everywhere. Maybe someday!
