i think that it's been fairly evident from the beginning that this originated right at the top, "working under the radar."
It is optimistic to think that anything will come of this. The left are already convinced that it is Bush's fault and he started the program. Just ask one...
The exact date can also be pinned down.
Just demand the date Obama was in the loop, and then anything prior to that is not covered by executive privilege.
If they won't provide a date, then they admit this was Obama's idea from the start.
