DOWN RANGE Coming Up!

Sorry for the light blogging...I'm sending hours and hours every day in front of the computer trying to get the DOWN RANGE TELEVISION site up in beta by Friday. Here's the promo that's floating around.

It's gonna be great when I can get back to just producing content instead of being mired in a world of non-compatible formats! I did re-edit the SIGARMS 556 piece and included a couple of good interviews I'd cut out in the Quicktime version to speed it up...that's what'll be available in the "Now Playing" window on Friday. I also started outlining the "Carrying the Pocket Pistol" show that'll be up in a week or so.

Broadcast-wise, I'm still talking to three channels, including my old home of The Outdoor Channel. Mostly, I'm dodging giant bullshit bombs and trying to find the right path for the shows.

Will keep you informed!

I thought it said, "Here's the PORNO that's floating around." Imagine my surprise!! Good luck, and don't let the bastards get you down.

Michael, big fan of Shooting Gallery here (I have the DVDs for Seasons 5 and 6). Best of luck to you in your new enterprise. Please clear something up; is Season 7 the last for Shooting Gallery, or will it continue along with 'Down Range'?
Thanks!

You said "I did re-edit the SIGARMS 556 piece".

You didn't take out the part where you pointed out the decent folks at Sig actually included a safety did you? That was cute!!!!!

Yeah yeah...so I pulled the trigger with the safety on!

At least I didn't flnch!

Frank...the fate of SHOOTING GALLERY PER SE is still undecided. I have no contract with The Outdoor Channel for either 2007 or 2008...this is to say I am genteelly unemployed, or something like that. Lotsa talk...damn little paper.

However, you are correct in thinking that the CONCEPT behind SG & COWBOYS willc ontinue, as politically incorrect as ever. Might be interesting to see a broadcast/Internet combo, wouldn't it???

BTW, starting next week I'm going to start giving away guns...soemthing I could NEVER do at TOC! First up is the custom $4000 Bruce Gray SIGARMS 1911, built by Brucie to my specs (I irritated him to death on this one!). It freakin' rocks, and because it's the first one, I suspect you just might have a better chance than when I give away the .50 BMG! Whoops, did I say that out loud???

Whoa!
Did I hear someone say "gun give away"!!!
Where do I sign? Do you need a first born?
(I don't have one, but can come up with one somewhere!)It might be Rosemary's baby, but will it do in a pinch?

Again, where do I sign?!?

Michael, I DID say the Sig safety moment was cute! I actually thought is was cool the way you handled it. Besides, I have done way dumber things, like go to fire without closing the bolt.

When you giving the Sig 556 away???? I thought it rocked, especially in 2-3 round rapid fire there was no discernable muzzle rise. Looks kewl too.

Michael, I did one better and cancelled my subscription to The Outdoor Channel. More money for reloading supplies now, but please get Downrange TV up and running as soon as possible before I start getting the shakes. Who loves ya brother!
