Survived the Politicians!

Was touch & go, to be sure!

Went back to Blackwater and am now on the way home!

Lordy - "twittering" is even worse!

Almost as bad as Googling.

What the hell is it with these new techno types? Are the nerds truly taking over?

Don't know what universe you are in but THOSE kids are the grandparents of the company owners. Check out the ages of the owners of Google, Twitter etc...all in early 20's, if that....

I'm assuming he was being metaphorical...or allegorical or something symbolic as opposed to literal (Jeez, now I'm sounding like a nerd!) We disparaged the idea of nerds when we were kids - even if some of our peers may have looked down on us as nerds. Sort of a nerd pecking order, if you will.

Point being that it wasn't cool then to be a nerd, but now I'm afraid it is.
