Next time keep the bird away from your eye if you leave him with the bird-sitter for long periods of time.

Great! Now go slow on activities. Like it or not the older we get the more time we need to heal - or more correctly put - mend.

Michael: Glad you can see. My turn comes up pretty soon when I have a lens replaced in my left eye.

But if you need it I have an extra black eye patch.....thin the Hathaway shirt guy...only fatter.

Don't know about shooting stuff yet...I've got much better vision in my right eye, but they want to give it 5 weeks before they actually write a new prescription for glasses/contacts. I can definitely get a sight picture with both eyes open, which I think is promising.

BTW, I didn't carry while "pached"...heck, I knocked over a big glass of adult beverage because my depth perception had gone all to heck.

ANDDDDDDDDDDDD...thank you for your thoughts!

Shot gun practice BEST tbug

Glad things seem to have worked! Take it EASY on the heavy recoil for a while. Things like that can be bad for a newly repaired eye.

Wonderful to hear that the surgery went well. Looking forward to your testing the new "sight" at the range....
