Came home and found a package from Andy Langlois at Andy's Leather (http://andysleather.com/) with a totally cool Ching Sling set-up for the Ruger/Gunsite Scout. Andy makes the best slings in the country, so I figure somewhere Col. Cooper is smiling (or scowling a little less, maybe).
Andy hinted at a new line of holsters that may be forthcoming...we'll keep you informed, of course.
Andy also runs the Scout Rifle Forum and is one of the most knowledgeable people around on scout rifles. http://www.scoutrifle.org/
I note that Kahr has announced delivery dates -- next month -- and an MSRP, $565, on their CM9, Kahr's entry into the Little Bitty Niner sweepstakes. The sub-$600 price tag puts the Kahr into the high end of Ruger/Taurus/Kel-Tec territory while leaving Kahr's proven, more expensive little guns to hold the line against the Sig P290 and the Kimber Solo.

When are you going to do a review of the Sig P290 and Kimber Solo ? Kahr sued Colt over the Pocket 9 because Colt used there patented offset barrel lug.. Colt pulled the pocket 9 after only being on the market for one year..

I really like what I see with this thing... basically its the exact specs as the PM9 but a lot cheaper. There will be one less mag that comes with it and it has a standard barrel instead of match grade, but I think this will be the best buy in this category.
I've got a Solo and a P290 on request, and I will ask for a CM9 Monday. A 9mm Taurus Slim is at my FFL dealer.
I like that warehouse! Hell of a lot safe than the N'Awlin's 9th Ward, where we fairly clanked from all the hardware.
The Mustang us one of the finest pocket pistols ever made. Mine is perfect and has been carried a lot. I wasn't a huge fan of the Pocket 9 at the time, but maybe I'm remembering it wrong.
Am going to include the Para Carry 9 and my Dane Burns custom STI LS9 in the test...

Ugly ass red building...I park adjacent to that building under an overpass. On September 1 I took a new job and I remember sometime thereafter it raining one day....and I saw what I thought was a news crew filming at the warehouse as they sometimes do. Boy, was I wrong. To mind that was about the time Rob had the class at USSA that the new job prevented me from enrolling in and roughly IDPA Nationals time.
That warehouse in Tulsa (1st & Detroit) has snow up to the loading dock now and 8-10 foot piles where the road and parking lot has been cleared.
Michael, you would probably enjoy McNellies if you haven't already...just a hundred yards east there on 1st street. Many kinds of adult beverages and the best burger in Tulsa.
Looking forward to the new, kewl location. Also...comments about Red Jacket's suppressed Saiga? My wife says it's a must have for home defense...boy do I love that woman!
