Not to be outdone, the Violence Policy Center is predicting the end of civilization as we know it:

I suggest immigrating to Canada; be sure to say hi to Alex Baldwin when you get there! Meanwhile, NBC is running a poll on whether handguns should be legal in D.C., witht he current tally running about 88% in our favor. Tres embarrassing! The rabble just doesn't seem to agree with those media "opinion leaders."

The link to the NBC poll comes up blank. I wonder if they took it down on purpose because it wasnt' showing what they thought it would.
