OUTDOOR LIFE is choosing their OL Sportsperson of the Year, and Randy Luth, head of DPMS, is one of the choices.
Aside from the fact that Randy is a good friend of mine, a sportsman's sportsman and for years a solid defender of our RKBA, I think choosing the head of a "black rifle" company as OL's top guy would send a very good message to our industry and to our enemies.

While I like the sentiment, our enemies couldn't care less about our opinions.

DPMS is not now, nor have they ever been a sponsor of any of my broadcast products or of DOWN RANGE. To the best of my knowledge, Outdoor Channel is not in negotiation with DPMS for a sponsorship.
In fact, DPMS is the direct competitor to one of my largest sponsors, Stag Arms.
I have not been given, nor purchased at a discount, any DPMS products.
Randy Luth is my friend, and he has stood with me on the front line of our battle...unlike anonymous assholes like yourself.
