Michael Bane gives his thoughts about the state of the firearms industry triggered by the recent news about Marlin Firearms closing its plant in Connecticut. Is the firearms industry in bad shape or are we seeing signs of an adjustment to a change in the market?

Marlins moving is reflective of a liberal, tax'em to death state which has excessive nanny state regulations on businesses. Hopefully, they relocate... like when Buck Knives moved from California to Idaho and save a fortune in taxes and reduced regulations.

I think crime rate is increasing day by day and almost every person want to buy a gun for safety and self defense. So, the firearm shops play an important role for the public.But firearm dealer should make sure that he not should an firearm to criminals.
