Gee, They Noticed...

From Reuters, as lined on Drudge & InstaPundit:
Tegeler is among a growing subculture of Americans who refer to themselves informally as "preppers." Some are driven by a fear of imminent societal collapse, others are worried about terrorism, and many have a vague concern that an escalating series of natural disasters is leading to some type of environmental cataclysm.

Now if only they'd notice that our own Justice Department is arming drug cartels.

Is this right up there with the "Survivalist" craze of the late 70s?

Beware those that profit from sowing the seeds of fear in others.

Let's see, After Armageddon, Best Defense, Best Defense Survival. Yep, you're soup! :-)

BTW, Anonymous who posted what MB quoted - a mind is a horrible thing to waste. Go do some research on the modern preppers, and THEN post.

I'm personally preparing for the Rapture. I know I won't be left behind but don't know what heaven is going to like. You can't be sure of anything. I watch TBD and I'm waiting for the episode on proper carry for Heaven and Rapture approved firearms.

Is that what it's called ?
Silly me, I thought it was called CYA.
I question the integrity of people who these types of comments, but lack the courage to use their name.
I also question the intelligence of those who prefer not to err on the side of caution.
Let's think about this for a moment.
People today laugh at those who prepared for disaster in the days before Y2K.
It was a nonevent that left them with large quantities of survival gear.
I wonder how many of them have since used that gear in the aftermath of floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, or other disasters ?
Your choices are to prepare and possibly seem paranoid, or not prepare and leave your, (and your families ) lives at the mercy of the fates.

another liberal biased press passing of a psy ops as news. it is all part of their agenda to paint gun people as paranoid crazies of the right wing.
