First Look-Lipsey's .44 Special Vaquero

Just picked it up...think very cool .44 Special Montado...same hammer; same opened up rear sight notch...am on plane...more later!

Is it a Vaquero, or a New Vaquero? It looks kind of chunky in the pic, and I know Ruger expressed reluctance to chamber .44 Special in the New Vaquero.

it looks chuncky 'cause its got the 4 5/8 barrel....

I will take 2, with 5 1/2" barrels, with spare cylinders in .44-40....

or someone please just make them in .44-40...

this way they match my 1882 circa
'73....my main match rifle...with a shot out bore that shoots .430" bullets better than the original .427 inchers.
