Winchester X2 Shotgun Rave

Just a short rave before I collapse in a heap at the St. Louis airport hotel...The Winchester X2 Signature is a stone cold workhorse! We pounded the living heck out of two of them today, and the never missed a lick. Patrick Falnigan's main X2 ran 1000 rounds of 12 gauge without a blip...although we had to keep cooling the barrel with wet rags so Patrick could keep pounding rounds through it and still hang on. Key thing is the gun is fast, maybe the fastest-cycling shotgun I've ever worked with (including the sainted Benelli).

Damn nice gun!

A fellow 3-gunner was whinning to me a year ago that his only lasted about 18 months before it began having serial, multiple, consistently recurring reliability problems. His claim that was that the gun did not hold up on the long term endurance scale like a Benelli. I am not sure what to believe.

Faster than a Benelli? I find that hard to believe. I see a Practical Shotgun match in the future of Shooting Gallery. All shotguns, all the time...only the practical kind though. Michael, please make that happen. There isn't enough coverage fo the practical shotguns (if any) and they are trick.

I agree that practical shotgun is trick. We've got a filming session with Rob Haught on the tactical side coming up this summer, and we're doing a Complete Cowboy Shotgun episode with Tequila and Coyote Cap on COWBOYS. Let me see if I can ramp something up for SG.

Probably 30% of my 3-gun friends tell me that they believe the X2 is flat out faster then the Benelli; 30% are carrying the torch for the Benelli and the remaining 40% tell me it's B-S, since I'm not fast enough to run the gun at top speed anyway (when I was shooting 3-gun, I did manage to outrun my Rem 1100 20-gauge on rare occasions).

RE: Reliability, I can only refer you to Flanigan, who bought and used X2s long before Winchester picked him up. He's running about 70,000 rounds a year through his X2s with nothing but the expected maintenance issues (springs, etc.). Before I put my own X2 on order, I made some calls to friends in the sporting clays community, and nobody had a bad word to say about the shotgun. I chose between the X2, Browning Gold and the Beretta 391.

How about a competition between Tom Knapp and Patrick Flanagan to find out what gun really is faster?

Oakley Frogskins is usually made vbigyfh by plastic, nylon or maybe metal. They come in lots of colours, types, sizes and have absolutely plenty connected with coloured upgraded lenses. Oakley Frogskin for holidays need to be wide framework with big lenses. As long as you're shopping on the net for Cheap Oakley Sunglasses, don't forget to order the gadgets that go along with them. Let's head out straight to the issue and say you choose Oakley Jawbone that fit is very important of your mind and scalp. Oakley Jawbones act like clothes as, if there're too substantial or modest, you'll finish up fidgeting about it.

This can't succeed in reality, that is what I think.
