The Westroads Mall in Omaha Reopens...

Luckily, they were able to get these signs up before opening for business! They'd taken them down after the shootings, lest anyone besides Alynnis Morisette understand the word, "Irony."

I read something a long time ago, it has always stuck with me.

"It is better to ask for forgiveness than for permission."

Doesn't the mall assume shopper's safety if they bar shoppers from defending themselves? Has something like this every been litigated?

Isn't it similiar to, say the state depriving someone of liberty but then assuming the responsibility for the welfare of an inmate?

It's been four weeks since the Sportsman for Fred announcement. What activities to get Fred elected are going on? How come there have been no further reports? What are you doing in Ia?

Michael;

The mall itself reopened a week ago... without the signs. Von Maur just reopened on Thursday, and by then the signs were back...

One of my readers, a Guardian Angel, said mall executives told them that there was more than enough mall security to handle any situation...

How's that working so far?

I think everyone should let the mall management know what you think about being forced to be defenseless when shopping in their mall. Here is a link to send a comment to the Westroads Mall:
