I'm not quite getting the "zoot suit" thing. I can see using it for a catchy name ("Zoot Shooter" trips off the tongue better than "1920s and '30s Gangster Shooter"), but actually wearing a zoot suit for a Roaring '20s and Depression-era shooting sport? They weren't invented until the late '30s, and they were primarily jazz-club attire. That's like shooting SASS in a barbershop-quartet outfit.

Look at photos of those old gangsters. Nobody was wearing a zoot suit, for goodness sake. Rent "Last Man Standing" or "The Untouchables", or Google images of Frank Nitti and Al Capone. Get a nice three-piece suit or double-breasted jacket. Tupelo's got the right idea.

I've got to second Dave S on this. Prohibition/depressionn era gangsters/G Men did not wear Zoot Suits. There is no national awareness of a "Zoot Suit era". If you are trying to grow dress up and play gangster/g man shooting then ditch the zoot!

I hope you got to participate as well as shoot the shoot (lol).
There were no cowboy shoots this 5th weekend, but I went to the Washington State Glock match and had a great time.
